Owner Kenneth Beene performed a major overhaul on this engine (O320-E3D; L-29634-27A) in January 1998.  Tear down and inspection after it was removed from service on N664FL at 2222 hrs TT indicated a failing camshaft and lifters on #1 & #2 intake lobs.  It was attached to RV-6 N94KB and first run in October 1999 for initial pressure tests.  Overhaul was in accordance with Lycoming manual 60294-7 with modifications according to STC: SE3692SW, which increases the HP to 160.  All machine work was done by Bolduc Aviation, Anoka County Airport, Minnesota.  The following parts were replaced with new except for the fuel pump, cam followers and vacuum pump, which are rebuilt with yellow tags.
